Unless you are a natural musical genius at some stage  are going to need to invest the time in training your ear.

This is one thing all the greats had, bar none. The ability to effortlessly choose and play the "correct" notes to express their emotions at the drop of a hat without any hint of doubt or error.

The Major Meditation Ear training exercisesresource  provides a concrete  system of  study to follow that is guaranteed to boost you aural acuity.

How the system works:

Using the included Mp3 audio tracks short phrases are heard on the piano beginning on the following tones relating to the major scale. (Root, 2nd, minor 3rd, major 3rd, 4th, #4, 5th, flat 6th, major 6th, minor and major 7th)

After each phrase a space is left where the student  repeats the phrase by ear.

The 217 phrases of each key take some 67 minutes to complete (but you can divide practice sessions up in to smaller chunks)

Simple as that!

The great thing about this process is that it leverages your practice time!  Improving your tuning, melodic vocabulary, musical memory all whilst building and strengthening you aural perception,
