Killer Licks + exercises

This tremendous lick features the heart wrenching dissonance of surrounding the root note of a dominant chord chromatically. (Sounds Painful- it is'nt!)

This is an essential sound emotion for any serious improvisors to have in their sonic arsenal.

Files Included:
The PDF includes the 6 tremendous song extracts that are like licks themselves that were featured in the video in Eb, Bb and Concert keys.
As well there are exercise, lines that have been built on these notes designed to facilitate the assimilation of these emotional sounds.

Killer Licks

I haven’t tried it as it’s in a folder to be downloaded later as I keep telling you. I broke my neck and will be getting back into playing(performing) again. Thank god you said you’d help me in the future to download both the PDFs and music to my computer whenever I’m ready. Either this email is computer generated and doing emails automatically or you’ve forgotten. Anyways, I appreciate all you continually do for jazz my Berklee brother! Thanks!

Moody Riff

I've improved on this particular concept for years being that it is a big part of not just jazz but all of music's history. This is a much more in depth approach than I've ever taken and well worth the cost of the worksheet. I have purchased and added to my bag o trix from many of Nick's worksheets and recommend anything he publishes which is sometimes free!!.
