I was trying to expand my mandolin practice. I've seen many of your videos on YouTube. I pick up new vocabulary and concepts from them. Much of the mandolin specific practice material is more geared towards learning to copy other player's solos. I want to understand how they're constructed and you materials give me what I'm looking for. We're building a pizza here, People! (That was the first video I watched.) Thanks. I'll be back.

Please excuse me for such a long delay in responding. I'm currently enjoying this item, it's keeping me very busy playing at a slower tempo until I can get the information second nature under my fingers to increase the tempo. I greatly appreciate your demonstration of all your items, which keeps me interested in future item purchases.

Your stuff brings me forward in my way understanding and feeling music! Very good, I should have had this source already 30 years ago!
I'm a school band teacher who was looking to build up my chops across the many instruments I play and learn new improvisational approaches on guitar. This versatile resources has been very effective and fun to use. I just wish I had more time to play!
Hi Edward thanks for the review!
As with all Nick Homes creations this is original and fresh. He takes the notes that we all know and lays them out in very unusual ways. These are musically interesting as well as challenging technically.
Very pleased with the direction these examples take me. They make for good cohesiveness.
This book has all the essential ingredients to make tasty music. What a deal, THANKS!
great practice tutorial, which invites you to create very interesting harmonic paths, highly recommended!!
I have just started and it's very useful. Perfect for me, as a beginner with piano I've begun using It to start improvising.
For a beginner like me those are very useful exercises that I need to burn into my brain :-). One thing could be improved on the pdf: there could be a table of contents to directly go to a given key
I really dig triad pairs and with the approach note exercises they create nice melodic patterns.
As a bass player this material is great. The way Nick explains some of these advance concepts is so intuitive that It's lit a fire in me to practice every day.
