My first 8 blues solos

Love it, it encourages me to take another look at the blues again. I made my recording of the first eight solos and hope to make another recording (starting at solo 9) soon. If you are interested, please check Cheers!

Some nice material to work on

Although the changes to the Blues are pretty standard, I like using the material to hear and follow Nick phrase and interpret the solos. I can often play the notes, but I really need to work on the presentation of the notes I'm playing. Nick also uses a lot of ornaments which I also need to include in my solos. Overall, I've enjoyed all of the material I've purchases and often will use the material as exercises to develop my technique and also the hear the phrases better.

I am learning so much from your wonderful work; but it will take a lot of time, to get on … I do begin to understand, how theory works … Please, keep jammin‘ …

I like these Blues solos very much.

I am a classical player and have always wanted to play jazz. Now with these pieces and the lively backing I can actually feel like a jazz player!

Hi Nick! These are all topics that you have covered very well with many examples plus there are the bases to study better! What to say? Great job and I'm sure I still buy teaching material! My judgment applies to all topics I have purchased! I recommend them to all those who want to study and seriously learn music! Best Regards Giorgio Zanotti!

It's brilliant

Value for money is amazing here. There is a lot of solid information and content to digest (and I don't mean in an overwhelming way!) Clear instructions, pointers and explainations about the many chords progressions... Great written notes about the included solos as well!! For anyone who is looking to make sense of Blues/Jazz (mostly blues, with sprinkles of jazz) in a structured way like myself, this is a great purchase.

All in one

So many ideas, so many styles at hand. It would have taken so much time and effort to get these... but thanks to you, I can start right now, head on. Tell you when I've covered every solo, may be ten years from now ;-)

10 Essentials Blues Progression

I am just getting started but I am sure that this will be an awesome resource as I am a self taught gospel musician with a few gaps here and there. The video was fantastic. You are a very gifted and generous teacher!

Excellent teaching pack

Excellent content, well laid out and easier to understand. Takes the reader from a basic 12 bar blues through to a complex Jazz style blues. The backing tracks are good quality and are easily looped for extended playing.

Love Nick’s approach

I’ve struggled with jazz improv most of my trumpet playing life and have a bookcase full of method books to show for it. But Nick’s approach has clicked for me! His structured digestible bite sized videos and materials are filled with examples, explanations, and demonstrations all delivered with just the right amount of humor. Highly recommended!
