The first thing that struck me was the sheer amount of material included. Not only the PDFs but the mp3 backing tracks and examples and also videos. Another thing that impressed me was that the exercises in all twelve keys is NOT just the same exercises transposed. This will keep me going for a long time.
I find your YouTube videos very helpful. So, I thought I would try this and I am quite pleased with it. Thanks for your work!
Hi Nike I like to work with your courses. As I am a retired non professional flutist I enjoy to learn to better know what I am was doing all the time. The big challenge for me is to process all the new stimuli in such a way that they do not hinder my playing. Thank you and Iam looking forward to new things, any plan for latin style things? Best wishes Albrecht from Switzerland
Hi Albrecht. Thanks for the review. I would encourage you to try these ideas over any style (jazz, blues, latin, etc.) I think that you will find they will work! Best, Jazz Duets.
lots of work, but worth it.
Started using the book and has definitely made an impact.
Good enough to get what I expected
Good stuff for me as a “ jamband” player with a jazz problem. Very guitar friendly and my reading is slowing getting better. Steve Kimock calls pentatonics “human birdsong” and this course makes that ring true.
Great stuff Super explained
I’m so pleased, l was looking for an approach like this. Excellent stuff indeed.
I am still applying the concepts but this really helps keep me inspired, especially with using concepts I know but in another application for melodic sounds!
Materials are so comprehensive I wouldn't need any more material for minor pentayonic practice! But the matetials are spread so wide it's sometimes time-consuming to navigate. It would be better if a cover PDF sheet existed from which I can click to browse. Also please provide one big zip file so I can download and unzip at a few steps instead having to download every individual file.
