These Michael Brecker (advanced) inspired exercises have been specially crafted to expand the players horizons both technically and musically.
The uncommon interval leaps covered in the 4 page PDF will fortify your ear and fingers . For wind instruments there are added challenges of intonation and airstream + range.
Playing along with the included MP3 Sine wave files of the exercises will be of great use to user as they will be able to build tuning security and confidence.
The Daily practice of these challenging melodic shapes will raise the level of your playing no matter what your current abilities are and expand your ear to boot!
These ideas are just the beginning, and not the end. Adapt them, make them your own!
The digital download includes Pdfs and Mp3's for Bb Tenor, Bb Soprano, Bb Clarinet, Alto Sax and C instruments like the Flute.
Please be aware these exercises are advanced as they use the full ranges of the instruments and the high harmonics of the Saxophone

Your input is very much appreciated. Share it with your friends so they can enjoy it too!
Very good exercises for intonation and embouchure. Really cheap Thank you very much
I used the stacking idea as a warmup on flute a s sax.
Excellent, detailed insight of how one of the greatest jazz artists of our time plays and THINKS. Great education here...
I was very pleased with the Expansion drills, especially at such a reasonable price. I was happy to receive all the various MP3's for different instruments, as well as the PDF's of the exercises. I played through all 20 exercises the same night that I made the purchase on my trumpet, using the clarinet drills. I found the exercises very useful for expanding my conception as well as facilitating the slurring of wide intervals on the trumpet. I am looking forward to playing through the exercises on other instruments as well, since I am a doubler. Thanks for producing such an effective package and making it available at such a reasonable price.
Very useful warm up/tuning excercises with mp3:s. I've been using these every day now.
Just getting into it but it’s like all the rest of your stuff once I can navigate through it all is wonderful
Your "fresh" approach is really really unique and useful!
Great- more Brecker plewse
I believe this PDF will help expand my ears and my playing. It is a great warmup exercise.
Good ideas for working on intonation and thinking out of the box
All of your materials are exquisite and specifically super helpful.
it's too soon to know........;)
